The saga continues

The saga of the Hamamelidae (or was it Hamamelididae) continues in this second volume of Crane's and Blackmore's reference work.

This time, we are treated to scientific papers on the origins of Fagaceae, early fossil history and evolution of Betulaceae, systematics and phylogeny of the Urticales, a review of the classification of the Moraceae, etc etc. In more accesible lingo: the book deals with oaks, birches, nettles and mulberries. Among others!

Probably good if you fell in love with nettles the first time they stung you as a kid, but hardly accessible to the general reader.
