One of the most peculiar alien encounters took place in 1973 on the Isle of Wight, UK. The alien is known as Sam the Sandown Clown and have never been seen since.
The dragging clip above is from YouTube (the title and thumb nail are click bait), while one of the links below is to the original report, published in the British UFO-logy magazine BUFORA Journal in 1978.
The witch-like moderator of the YouTube channel points out that one of the eye witnesses, the seven-year old girl, was nicknamed "Fay" by BUFORA. There are certainly similarities between her story and traditional tales of fairies (also known as "fay").
What on earth (pun intended) Sam the Sandown Clown could have been is anybody´s guess, but it does show the crossover between supposed UFO cases and traditional folklore about very different kinds of creatures. Which may or may not give us a clue as to what´s really going on here...
