See you in Valhalla

"Indian man telling a Christian man he'll see him at Valhalla". This must be the most stupid controversy so far in the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination.

First, everyone knows exactly what Kash Patel means. Indeed, *that* might be the problem with the statement - that an FBI director implies he wants to start a civil war. Not the "theology". Second, why is it "cringe" for an Indian-American in 2025 (AD) to say "see you in Valhalla"?

Third, "cringe" is relative in religious matters as your local angry atheist will surely tell you in your face. Is it less "cringe" for a Norse pagan to convert to a religion according to which an executed Jewish carpenter from a one-horse town was actually the one and only god?

What´s probably going on here is frustration at the FBI for initially catching the wrong guy, anger at Patel´s role in the Epstein Files affair, and (perhaps) annoyance at the fact that the Great White Father in Washington appointed a Hindu to an important position in the administration in the first place...

Or not. Some of the people who complain seem to be Hindus?! But sure, maybe Patel should test the waters next time somebody is murdered and tell them "see you in Shiva-loka"!

Wasn´t Kash Patel born and raised a Hindu?

Why I left politics

    1. A crazy but mildly entertaining rant I posted here in 2020, which may or may not explain why I left politics, at least after a fashion...
      1. Amazing that British group "Socialist Action" still supports China. Might as well stop pretending, endorse Joe Stalin. Or didn't the Russians deliver the thirty pieces of silver?

  1. Maybe they should endorse Joe Biden, too, while there is still time?

  2. Still waiting for the American and British revolutionary left to officially endorse Joe Biden.

  3. Remoaners, Corona Karens, Biden bros, shills for China...the far left is really a sorry lot.

1914 was the tragedy, this is the FARCE.

  4. They actually topple Lincoln and Grant statues, why should I take these petit bourgeois crackpots seriously?

  5. I agree there is systemic racism in America. Ironically, BLM proves it since most BLM protesters are White college kids appropriating Black struggles! It's bizarre, really really weird...

  6. I agree with the liberals that the US should stay in Syria and Afghanistan, but I'm surprised that this is now considered a "leftist" position, lol.

  7. Could we get Antifa to protest in support of US troops in, say, northern Syria? Ha ha, basic bitches!

  8. At this point, most leftists are simply useless tools of some establishment faction or clique. Why even bother with them anymore?

  9. Seriously considering becoming a rightist, why bother with the left anymore?

  10. The 2020 left is a hybrid between Queers, John Bolton and Chinese genocide, I mean, what the fuck.

  11. Well, at least it's an interesting psy-op...

  12. Of course, a large segment of the left became globo-liberal assets already during the 1990's.

  13. After being the useless fools of Soviet imperialism, they seamlessly morphed into Clintonistas. OK, thanx for your services, lol.

  14. Will they morph again? That seems unlikely at this point. They will go down with the entire post-Soviet world "order".

  15. They wanted to kill the West, now they are committing suicide. Goodbye!

  16. Had I been a globo-liberal, I would have thanked the soft and Trotskyite left for their support for Clinton, Bush, Obama and Biden!

  17. What will you do in the decades ahead, when populism, resource wars and climate change will dominate politics? You *do* realize that both globo-liberalism and revolutionary socialism are FUCKED, right?

  18. It's over for you at this point, by 2030 or 2040,none of you will be left!

  19. Note the double entendre in the previous posting...

The Coming Coup

- Yes, he said "collapse now and avoid the rush"!

It´s been...a strange week. With weird synchronicities (for lack of a better word). And no, I probably won´t tell you!

So I recently got the feeling that we´re heading for some kind of final confrontation in the United States. I could be wrong, obviously. I don´t claim precognitive powers! But there is something in the air. A collapse? A coup? I mean, has anything *really* gotten better (no matter what you mean by that term!) during 2025?

But I´ve been wrong about "apocalyptic" predictions before, so maybe we´ll all live to see the Vance-Newsom apocalypse in 2028...

För kännedom

Dark Woke

Next Dem nominee?

A lot of strange Gavin Newsom memes on social media right now, half of them probably posted by Newsom himself. The one´s that are not...well, trolls love to point out that Newsom´s entire family is White, while J D Vance´s is mixed race. They also dub the California governor "Dark Woke" and say he is on a mission from Dark Brandon (Biden) to avenge Hunter?! And so on.

Translation: the next US presidential election will be between...you guessed it...Newsom and Vance.

In other news, Trump is apparently trying to arrest and prosecute John Bolton. Strangely enough, while flip-flopping on Ukraine...again. In a seemingly more Boltonite direction!

If this continues, the next presidential shake-up might be much closer than 2028.

Rubicon?

The Hun Sen regime

Israel, Pakistan and now Cambodia have all nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel peace prize. Yes, really. I suppose Rwanda is next. Something tells me these nations might get in big trouble if a RINO or Dem ever retakes the White House...

What a pity Greta supports Hamas, I mean, this would have been an excellent opportunity for Norway to give *her* the peace prize instead, LOL.

Wat means?

Michael Tracey (perhaps ironically) claim that the above are typical MAGA T-shirts, so I had to ask ChatGPT (non-Molech version) about it...

What is the meaning of the meme or T-shirt with the text "I´m not gay but 20 dollars is 20 dollars"? Is there a connection to MAGA?

The phrase "I'm not gay, but $20 is $20" is a popular meme and slogan found on T-shirts, mugs, and internet posts. Here's a breakdown of its meaning and cultural context:

Meaning

It's a joke that plays on the idea of someone doing something they normally wouldn’t (in this case, engaging in a same-sex act) in exchange for money — in this case, a relatively small amount, $20. The humor comes from the contradiction:

  • The speaker claims not to be gay.

  • But is supposedly willing to perform a gay act for just $20, implying financial desperation or a very flexible moral stance.

This is meant to be ironic or absurd, and it's typically delivered tongue-in-cheek. It’s often used to poke fun at ideas of masculinity, sexuality, or cheapness — and sometimes to highlight hypocrisy.

Connection to MAGA or Politics?

There’s no intrinsic or original connection to MAGA (Make America Great Again) or conservative politics. However:

  • The meme has been popular among certain right-leaning or "anti-woke" internet circles, where it’s used for shock humor or to mock political correctness.

  • Because of that, and the way internet culture overlaps with certain memes, you might see the slogan worn or shared by people in the MAGA crowd, but it's not a MAGA-specific meme.

  • It's more of a "frat-boy" humor or edgelord meme, sometimes embraced by people with MAGA affiliations, but also common outside that sphere.

Summary

  • Joke meaning: I'm not gay, but I’d do something gay for money = absurd contradiction for laughs.

  • Not inherently political, but can be associated with politically incorrect or edgy humor spaces, some of which overlap with MAGA supporters.

Let me know if you want some examples of where it's been used or how it has evolved online.

Senator Lindsey Graham was probably one of the people who "turned" Trump on Ukraine (back to the pro-Ukrainian fold), so it will be interesting to see if he is right about this. I assume he is well-informed?

The Hamas Nazis can end the conflict (and impending famine) at any time by simply surrendering and release the hostages, but are clearly unable or unwilling to do so. So rather than continuing the never-ending cycle of negotiations, withdrawals and renewed offensives, maybe its time for Israel to finally recapture the Gaza strip and behead Hamas once and for all.

Note that Graham explicitly says that "the Arabs" should control the West Bank and Gaza. Which can mean whatever, but perhaps it opens a small window to a two-state solution, in which Fatah and allied forces control the Palestinian territories? That would also be in keeping with the Abraham accords.

Of course, none of this shit would have happened if that great hero of the Palestinian resistance, Yasser Arafat, had accepted Bill Clinton´s offer of a two-state solution circa 30 years ago, but apparently you can´t say that, cuz "pro-Zionism" or something...

Corn syrup and immigration

Credit: Ton Rulkens

So I asked the robot to comment this week´s strangest news item. Yes, that would be Trump´s proud announcement that the Coca Cola Company (at the God-Emperor´s prodding, mind you) will stop sweeten Coke Classic with corn syrup, instead using real sugar from sugarcane. Eh?

Sugarcane is grown in the southern states, where many people support Trump. But...what about immigrant labor at the sugarcane plantations? And what´s up with the corn syrup situation anyway? My guess is that RFK Jr and his "MAHA" movement may be behind this, since I assume they oppose said syrup.

However, more sugarcane production will presumably also make it necessary to import more cheap labor from Mexico and Central America. Unless the MAHA-ites want to lift and then volunteer their working class muscle down at the latifundia...

Do sugar cane plantations in the South use labor from Mexico?

Yes, many sugarcane farms in the U.S. South—especially in states like Florida and Louisiana—do use labor from Mexico, but the situation is more nuanced and varies by region and employer.

🇺🇸 U.S. Sugarcane Labor Overview

1. Mexican Migrant Labor

  • A significant portion of seasonal sugarcane workers in the South are Mexican nationals.

  • Many are brought to the U.S. through the H-2A visa program, which allows agricultural employers to hire foreign workers temporarily when there are not enough local laborers.

  • These workers typically perform manual cutting, planting, weeding, and harvesting, especially in Louisiana, which still relies partly on hand-harvested cane.

2. Florida (Heavily Mechanized)

  • In Florida, sugarcane harvesting is now largely mechanized—machines cut most of the cane.

  • However, Mexican and Central American workers are still employed in:

    • Planting

    • Field preparation

    • Maintenance

    • Milling operations

  • They often work under contracts with large companies (e.g., U.S. Sugar, Florida Crystals).

3. Louisiana (Still Some Manual Cutting)

  • Louisiana relies more heavily on manual labor for certain stages of harvesting and field prep.

  • Mexican H-2A workers are widely used during the harvest season.

  • Labor shortages have made growers more dependent on foreign guest workers.

🧾 Labor Rights & Controversies

There have been ongoing debates around:

  • Pay levels and working conditions for H-2A workers.

  • Access to healthcare and housing during seasonal work.

  • Exploitation or legal gray areas with subcontractors or recruiters.

Several reports and labor watchdogs have raised concerns, particularly regarding wage disputes and unsafe working environments.

Is there a criticism against using corn syrup from consumer rights groups and such?

Yes, there is significant criticism of high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) from a range of consumer rights groups, health organizations, and nutrition advocates. The criticism centers on health concerns, labeling transparency, and industrial agricultural practices. Here's a breakdown:

⚠️ 1. Health-Related Criticisms

a. Obesity & Metabolic Issues

  • HFCS has been linked—controversially—to the rise in obesity and type 2 diabetes in the U.S.

  • Groups like the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) and Public Health Advocacy Institute argue that HFCS contributes to overconsumption of sugar in processed foods and beverages.

b. Fructose Metabolism

  • Unlike glucose, fructose is metabolized primarily in the liver, which can lead to fat buildup and insulin resistance.

  • Some studies have associated high fructose intake with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and elevated triglycerides.

c. "Empty Calories"

  • Consumer health advocates argue HFCS provides no nutritional value beyond calories, and encourages the consumption of sugary, processed foods over whole foods.

🧾 2. Labeling and Transparency Concerns

  • HFCS often appears under different names like “corn sugar”, which can confuse consumers.

  • In 2012, the FDA rejected a petition by the corn industry to rename HFCS as “corn sugar,” citing misleading labeling.

  • Critics claim food labeling lacks clear distinctions between cane/beet sugar and corn syrup, which undermines informed consumer choice.

🌽 3. Industrial Agriculture & Environmental Impact

  • HFCS depends on large-scale corn monoculture, which requires:

    • Heavy fertilizer and pesticide use

    • Government subsidies (taxpayer-funded support of corn)

  • Environmental groups (like the Environmental Working Group) criticize this model for contributing to:

    • Soil degradation

    • Water pollution (from nitrogen runoff)

    • Reduced biodiversity

🏷️ 4. Market & Consumer Pushback

  • Starting in the late 2000s, there was a consumer backlash against HFCS.

  • Many companies (e.g., Snapple, Heinz ketchup, Gatorade) began marketing products with labels like “no high-fructose corn syrup.”

  • Some health-conscious consumers see HFCS as a marker of “ultra-processed” or low-quality food.

📊 Scientific Consensus?

  • Major health organizations like the American Medical Association (AMA) and FDA have stated that HFCS and table sugar (sucrose) are nutritionally similar when consumed in moderation.

  • However, they also acknowledge excessive sugar intake of any kind is unhealthy.

🟨 So while HFCS may not be uniquely toxic, critics argue that it encourages overconsumption due to its low cost and prevalence in processed foods.

✅ Summary of Criticisms

LabelingLack of transparency, misleading names
EnvironmentIndustrial corn farming harms ecosystems
Consumer rightsReduced choice, hard-to-avoid in processed foods
