Trilobite times



Trilobites lived on Earth (well, in the oceans actually) for 270 million years before the last ones were finally did in...by global volcanic eruptions that lasted for 2 million years!

Wtf?! But we're the crown of creation because...

Yeah, because of *what* exactly? Because we just elected an old fossil US president? Maybe Joe is a trilobite!

So far, we haven't come up with anything that could make our species last for 270 million years...
