*Something* strange is going on in the (US) establishment. Until recently, they always debunked UFOs. Project Blue Book and the Condon Committee are two well-known examples. And in the 1990´s, they released files showing that the crashed flying saucer at Roswell was a weather balloon (actually a spy balloon, but still one of ours). And then there´s the entire Fife Symington fracas following the mysterious Phoenix Lights.

We now have a faction of the establishment which pushes for "disclosure" and (more or less) explicitly says that the UFOs are alien craft. As in space alien. And when the Trump administration releases UFO files, they don´t try to debunk their contents. They just put them out there, with no particular explanation given at all! Note also the *strange co-incidence* that Steven Spielberg´s movie "Disclosure Day" (which I haven´t seen) is released in tandem with the Trumpite UFO files.
There is a conspiracy theory (which I on-off believe in myself) according to which "the conspiracy is the conspiracy". The military officially denies that UFOs exists, while secretely promoting belief in the saucers. Not because aliens are real - they´re not - but to protect secret military test flights. Of course, this multi-level psy-op only works if the official line is constant denial. If the establishment suddenly turns agnostic or true believer, something has changed in the Matrix...
One possibility is that they are simply taking the old conspiracy to a higher level. But why would they do *that* in 2026? Are people seeing so many classified drones (or enemy drones) that the only way to make people look in the wrong direction is to publicly announce that aliens are real? Another possibility is that "They" simply lost the plot. The Biden administration more or less promoted the Chinese lab leak theory, despite the fact that it was "Alt Right" and indirectly pointed the finger back at the NIH and Fauci! Ahem, who do you think financed the research at the Wuhan lab...
Maybe that´s what´s really going on here. Not disclosure, but decomposition. Perhaps that´s even more scarier than some alien space bros flying across our skies at dusk...

There are *still* people who think every Trump U-turn is just "the art of the deal", "4D chess", "a deliberate strategy of deception", et cetera. Yeah, I used to think so, too. Say ten years ago. Maybe it was true...back then. Today, I think it´s obvious that The Man has lost it.
Biden was (of course) senile, but Trump seems to be both senile and crazy. Biden´s gaffes could also be countermanded, while nobody seems able to reign in the Donald. The only "positive" thing is that Trump´s madness might - just might - scare somebody. Delcy Rodriguez, perhaps? It certainly seems to have scared the beejesus out of Denmark! By contrast, Biden´s decline made the US look weak. But it seems the Iranian regime is calling the Don´s bluff.

Apparently, some Trump supporters - perhaps worried by the discrepancy between Trump´s "anti-war isolationism" and his war moves against Venezuela - are trying to dust off the old conspiracy theory that the Red regime in Caracas rigged the 2020 elections in Biden´s favor.
In other words: ideas taken from the QAnon cult are being used to justify something I assume most QAnon-ites would usually oppose. Not because they like Maduro, but because they are...you know...isolationist or something.
That being said, given that the Republicans seem to swim in Russian and Qatari money, is it *entirely* impossible that the Dems might have been compromised by some sly Venezuelan operative back in the days?
