The first tweet does seem to be from the actual Secretary of State of Kentucky, who is a Republican. Not sure if he´s being sarcastic towards Democrats or Trump supporters? Many on X takes his tweet as confirmation that people in the Appalachian cultural region really are just as stupid as everyone assumes!

Things are heating up in the New York City mayoral race. 

Trump has publicly called on Republican voters *not* to support Curtis Sliwa, the "populist vigilante" candidate of the Republican Party (he´s apparently the founder-leader of the Guardian Angels). Instead, POTUS is backing liberal Democrat Andrew Cuomo, who is running as an independent. If all of Sliwa´s voters switch to Cuomo at the last moment, the latter will narrowly defeat the "socialist" candidate Zohran Mamdani (the official Democrat nominee). 

Which is the real point of the exercise. That, and presumably to stop any further legal proceedings against the Donald in the Big Apple. Meanwhile, Mamdani quotes Marx in a tweet. A troll? Suggesting he thinks he´s going to win...

Jag, när jag sitter på café och har åsikter

Aftonbladet hallucinerar. På en kylig oktobermorgon år 2025. Dessutom är rubriken grammatiskt inkorrekt. Mamdani är man. Det ska alltså stå "näste" president. Och hans "parti" är demokraterna, han har alltså inte ett eget särpräglat parti. Detta för att islamist-kramaren Mamdani faktiskt segrade i New York Citys demokratiska primärval, vilket har medfört att den "riktige" demokraten Andrew Cuomo tvingats ställa upp i borgmästarvalen som oberoende! Så den korrekta rubriken borde alltså vara: "USA:s näste president kommer aldrig att vara en islamist. Därför besöker Mamdanis kampanjstab Sverige".

Eller? :D 

PS. Okej, jag läste artikeln. Det visar sig att "Mamdanis parti" är...Democratic Socialists of America! Mamdani kan inte bli amerikansk president eftersom han är född i Uganda (jag antar att han alltså är indier), men enligt artikeln tänker DSA ställa upp en egen presidentkandidat år 2028.

Vilket inte heller stämmer. Kollade upp deras resolution. Den försöker ge intrycket att det handlar om det faktiska presidentvalet år 2028, men egentligen handlar det om primärvalen. I presidentvalen kommer de alltså att stödja den officielle demokraten. Vore ju ironiskt om det visar sig vara Andrew Cuomo.

Kort sagt, DSA agerar som alla andra vänstergrupper. De ständiga kurragömmalekarna, de opportunistiska manövrerna...poängen med resolutionen var antagligen att låta pseudo-radikala inför "basen" samtidigt som man fortsätter den sedvanliga linjen att arbeta inom demokraterna. Å andra sidan verkar det ju fungera. Jag menar, en medlem av DSA kanske blir borgmästare i New York City. Mamdani leder nämligen stort i opinionsmätningarna. 

Att Mamdani kan göra NYC mer socialistiskt eller ens socialdemokratiskt låter inte särskilt troligt. Alltså kommer han i fyra år tids att koncentrera sig på kulturkrigsfrågor. Vilket antagligen tilltalar hans "bas". Om det gör DSA:s eventuella kandidat i primärvalen 2028 mer valbar är kanske en annan fråga...

The moment Donald Trump left office (or rather when impeachment number two failed), it suddenly became OK to attack all the heroes of the resistance. 

So far, Andrew Cuomo, John Weaver and Hunter Biden have been exposed. Of course, if you pay attention to alt-media, you knew everything already *before* the elections... 

How ironic. I wonder who´s next? 

Note also that France and Germany are essentially giving Biden the middle finger, and nobody (with the possible exception of BoJo, the Little England PM) is particularly scared of him. Something tells me they will be even less impressed by Kamala Harris!

Note finally that Donald Trump, even after the 6 January LARP coup, still has the support of a substantial number of Republican voters.

This is not what was supposed to happen. And yet, here we are. The "normalization" might turn out to be very, very interesting indeed. 

A battle not even Corona-chan can win

Donald Trump´s response to the corona pandemic may not have been adequate, but as these (admittedly partisan) pieces point out, Trump was merely following the advice of the medical establishment, which initially didn´t believe there was any grave reason for concern either. 

Indeed, the Democrats *took exactly the same position*, including New York governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City mayor Bill de Blasio (the latter a supporter of Bernie Sanders). Indeed, the Democrats *attacked Trump for racism* when he imposed a travel ban on China - the country the virus was actually coming from. And yet, the media are accusing Trump of "doing nothing"?!

Here we go again! 

Even liberal Sweden, which isn´t even on literal lock down, criticizes Trump for "doing nothing", whatever than even means. And no, I´m not saying Trump or the establishment are innocent. How about finally giving everyone health insurance, close the tax havens and actually start taxing the tax-exempt foundations? Still, it is fascinating that nothing can trump TDS. Not even a coronavirus pandemic...
