"Developmental biology of higher fungi" is a super-technical work
with scientific papers on various aspects of...well, fungal development. It's
attributed to Moore, Casselton, Wood and Frankland. The volume is subtitled
"British Mycological Society symposium 10".
Articles include "The growth of Crinipellis perniciosa in living and dead cocoa tissue", "A comparative ultrastructural analysis of the host-fungus interface in mycorrhizal and parasitic associations" and (my absolute favourite) "The challenge of the dolipore/parenthesome septum".
Gee, guys, just kill them before they multiply!
