Science Fiction Rapture

 

I sincerely hope this is some kind of long term troll. If not, I feel sorry for this particular person. Her message blends Christian apocalypticism, crazy "alternative" views and anti-social power fantasies. 

This woman claims that the Rapture will be in August, that she will be taken to an island as part of 144,000 Chosen Ones, and given training to combat the Nephilim. The latter category evidently includes the Grey Aliens of UFO lore, dinosaurs in your backyard and - wait for it - the Smurfs?! 

There are constant pop culture references in her videos, for instance to the X-Men or Marvel Comics. One of the 144,000 becomes a nude superhero with a rhinoceros horn...

And that stereotypical Bible Belt accent...hmmm...is this a new Sarah Rooney?

 I´ve been looking for this version of Sarah Rooney´s classical troll (probably from 2012) for quite some while. So, I finally found it. Includes both the hilarious attack on Lady Gaga and Sarah´s later explanation that of course she´s just kidding. Something around one million people never understood...

"Judas" is not Lady Gaga's best song. However, I loved Sarah Rooney's priceless parody "Lady Gaga's `Judas' is EVIL" on Youtube. I'm fascinated by the fact that 120,000 people don't understand that Sarah is just joking!

Both Christians and atheists go crazy over her clip. Rooney (whoever she might be) has exposed the stupidity of both religious fundamentalism and cyber-atheism, not to mention the generally low level of Youtube discourse...

How can anyone seriously think that a real Christian would say "Judas is another name for Jesus"?

As for Lady Gaga, I know for a fact that she isn't Illuminati. I know, because I AM Ashtar Command.
