This stuff is probably mostly of interest to myself, for reasons I´m probably not going to disclose. Yepp, it´s our old friend, the globetrotting spiritualist medium Cyrus Kirkpatrick, more rambling and extreme than ever! He´s interviewed by one James Rink, who is just as delusional as Kirkpatrick himself.
Kirkpatrick claims to have inside information about something he calls "the dark fleet", apparently evil space aliens of some kind. They are in league with the Rothschilds and the Jewish mafia, who financed the Nazis blah-blah. The TV series "Star Trek" was real, including the alien races known as Betazoid, the Q Continuum and Cardassians but strangely enough not the Klingons. The actress Marina Sirtis, who starred a Betazoid, actually was Betazoid?! Tulsi Gabbard is a liasion officer with the good aliens and has offices on many planets in our galaxy. And yes, the devil looks like Kevin Spacey!
This whole space opera is spiced with Kirkpatrick´s old spiritual message very freely based on "The Law of One" plus various criticisms of the New Age and "The Secret".
Kirkpatrick also strongly implies that he was a secret agent in North Korea trying to turn Kim Jong-un (he did visit the isolated nation years ago) and that Kim will probably withdraw his troops from Russia and side with Trump.
The interviewer, Rink, describes himself thus in his channel presentation: "I am a milab and operate Sibeus and Arbeus avatars and super soldier cyborg missions involving searches, rescues, and exterminations for montauk and OW ops. I have been subjected to trauma, monarch programming, and human cloning connected to military abductions and alien mind control." Oh. His YouTube channel is called Super Soldier Talk, which I think is a reference to another space opera that´s supposedly true. Will check...or perhaps not.
Yes, it´s that bewildering cosmic channeler Cyrus Kirkpatrick again. Many of his criticisms of the New Age are spot on in my opinion, but they are combined with a form of strident sectarianism and quasi-apocalypticism I don´t really vibrate with. And, of course, a "space opera" back story which sounds like it´s taken from some scy fy computer game.
Kirkpatrick explains some of his ideas further in the comments below the video. Thus, he believes that most NDEs will suck you into a seemingly loving "hive mind" of discarnate souls which is really cultic and fanatical. On the astral level, "New Age" and "Muslim" hive minds (for example) might even wage wars against each other! The solution is not to enter the Light, but to become "an independent soul traveling the multiverse".
Is it all just clever metaphor? Or should it be taken literally? Probably the latter, judging by Kirkpatrick´s earlier videos (some of which I commented on this blog two years ago). He made some enemies, too, and claims to be under some kind of demonic attack. Weird that he doesn´t seem to realize that (of course) the proto-apocalyptic stuff about upcoming great shifts in consciousness connected to UFOs is also BS...
Our favorite (sort of) astral traveler Cyrus Kirkpatrick is getting more and more lost in his personal mythology, it seems. His recent clip tells a complicated story about an intelligent but sociopathic race of aliens known as the Aldmari, who apparently dominated billions of star worlds on the astral planes, until their evil shenanigans made "God" destroy them and reset the entire cosmic timeline!
Maybe Cyrus really does believe all this, but personally, I see it as metaphor for the kind of spiritual teachings this particular content-creator wants us to contemplate. The Aldmari are suspiciously similar to globalist Big Business capitalists and militarists down here on planet Earth, building city-scapes that look like darker versions of Manhattan. Indeed, Cyrus says that our world is still under Aldmari influence, despite the timeline reset (which I think happened this Thursday). Also, their spiritual teachings are similar to those Cyrus has criticized for years in his books and on his YouTube channel.
The Aldmari talk about "merging with God" through Zen-like meditation, breaking free from the karmic cycles, realizing that the world is an illusion, that good and bad doesn´t really exist, and so on. This kind of message is very common in New Age and "Buddhist" circles, but Cyrus believes that it´s really a cover for a sociopathic craving for power which ultimately ends in "the second death". Breaking free from all karma really means breaking free from the web of life, from the universe were everything is connected to everything else, thinking you´re some kind of omnipotent deity all by yourself.
In the same way, letting go of your individuality really means a kind of cosmic suicide, rather than a positive unity with the Divine Source. The Aldmari combines love and kindness with child sacrifice and other henious acts, once again acting like particularly deviant New Age believers, who also merge "love" with poison.
There may be some truth to all this, and who knows, maybe you need to claim authority from spirit communications and space aliens to convince people in this milieu, but personally, I find this to be just another channelled "space opera"...
Cyrus Kirkpatrick continues his far out speculations in this recent YouTube clip. While our man repudiated the wild claims he was promoting this summer, his new claims are...well, equally wild.
After communicating with "the Ashtar" and the "Angelic Order", Cyrus has reached the conclusion that the spiritual cosmos is currently split into two competing timelines. One of them is the "true" timeline, where our post-mortem existence looks pretty much as our present one, only much better, and we all get to keep our personalities and individualities. (I assume this is the "astral world" Cyrus usually talks about on his channel.) The fake timeline is created by a group of beings who think they are speeding up human evolution to higher levels of consciousness, while actually manipulating and perhaps even destroying it. These beings have created "the causal plane" in which the physical and the mental are conflated, every thought immidiately becomes an object, and human souls float around among strange geometric shapes, et cetera. This sounds like the *real* astral plane of many occult traditions, or perhaps a more chaotic version of the same?
The point of the exercise is to teach human souls that any kind of material or individual existence is negative, and that they must therefore fuse with "God" (which seems to be a kind of pantheistic world-spirit in this scenario). However, if you unite with "God" in this way, your soul will be dissolved into the divine essence, and you will simply cease to exist. This is the second death. The Angelic Order calls this "dissolutionism" and has woved to fight it. The pantheistic timeline is inherently unstable, and self-destructs at regular intervals, at which the aliens controlling it has to recreate it anew. Thus, it cannot give its denizens ultimate peace or immortality.
There are similarities between these curious teachings and other religious traditions. Richard Thompson´s book "Alien Identities" comes to mind, where some aliens are preaching a pantheist message, while the true message is that of Krishna seen as a personal god (the author was a member of ISKCON). The reason is simply that some UFO occupants are deluded by Maya (cosmic illusion). It also struck me that the communications from the Angelic Order sound like inverted Gnosticism. It´s as if the evil archons were communicating with humanity, trying to stop us from entering the real light (the "false" timeline) by enchanting promises of personal immortality. In the Gnostic scenario, the fantastic and perfect worlds promised us by the Angelic Order are the unstable ones, chaining us to further suffering. Another similarity would be with the devas of Buddhist mythology. The Angelic Order are the devas, claiming that the dissolutionists are the asuras, while real enlightenment (and nirvana) is different from both!
OK, you can have some fun with this material, if you studied comparative religion at college level (which I did).
Why not simply admit that there are many paths through eternity? If I want to dissolve my essence into the Divine, why should some self-proclaimed angel from "the 7th density plane" try to stop me...
Cyrus Kirkpatrick has been a pretty free-wheeling paranormal explorer and "astral traveler"...until now. In this recent YouTube clip, Cyrus tries to formulate a more "dogmatic" message (for good or for worse), based on "channeled" communications from a spirit named Lawrina or Kajwa. Cyrus now believes that Lawrina is actually an angel, not your average spirit of a dead person, and that she has revealed important truths to him about the true nature of God and the universe. Indeed, Kirkpatrick now suspects that *he* is on an important mission, really being an alien "council member" from Arcturus!
To describe the basic outline of the cosmos, Kirkpatrick uses the terminology of the "Law of One" - thus, he refers to his angelic contact as a "6th Density being" - but his perspective strikes me as very different. ("Law of One" is a collection of supposed channeled messages from an entity named Ra. It´s broadly New Age and Theosophical in character. For some reason, the material is quite popular right now.)
According to Lawrina, a huge portion of the universe is controlled by "the brother of God" or "Quotha". Kirkpatrick also refers to Quotha as "the Grey Sun". Quotha´s character seems contradictory. He is lower than God, claims all "densities" below the 6th, and seems to be their effective ruler. Thus, he rules both the material world and the less advanced rungs of the spiritual ditto. From a human perspective, Quotha looks infinite. His lifespan is "one googolplex times one googolplex" years, and his force or consciousness permeats our entire existence. Yet, Qoutha is really an embodied being, living on a planet the size of an entire galaxy. When humans die, Quotha appears to them as a white light (often also seen in NDEs) and tries to trick them into reincarnating at some level below the 6th density, often on Earth itself. So far, Quotha has obvious similarities to the Demiurge, the Archons, Kal, and similar lesser/false/evil gods in Gnosticism, Hinduism, and so on.
However, Quotha (somewhat surprisingly) also has positive, or at least partially positive, aspects. For instance, the Grey Sun isn´t really evil in Lawrina´s system. Quotha truly does love and feel compassion for all of creation. For this reason, Quotha wants to create an enormous cosmic hive mind, into which the souls of all living creatures will be merged. (I suppose you could call it a "social memory complex"...) The New Age religions which call on the individual to let go of Ego, feel nothing but Love, and merge with a blissful ocean of de-individualized Spirit, is a typical example of Quotha in action. So what´s the problem, then? Actually, that´s a really god question...
Cyrus Kirkpatrick (or Lawrina) believes that the attempts to create a loving hive mind is really a form of evil collectivism, regardless of the intentions of God´s breakaway brother. Communism, trans-humanism and religious fundamentalism are three examples of a hive mind gone dangerously wrong (Kirkpatrick has visited North Korea). Quotha is OK with any collectivist movement, even those that cause an enormous amount of suffering, since he believes that this furthers the ultimate goal. Quotha´s followers, known as Nimkan, have reincarnated on countless of worlds, and although not all of them are consciously evil, some are. Fanatics, sociopaths and cold-hearted people of all kind can be Nimkan, and this evil version of Quotha´s broad supporter club may be the biggest threat to humanity, indeed, to the entire galaxy!
I´m not sure how to relate to this (somewhat curious) gospel, but it might be interesting to follow Cyrus Kirkpatrick through the densitites in the near future.

Kirkpatrick has delisted the video clip above, and now says that he was tricked by "Lawrina", who apparently isn´t an angel after all! A somewhat unexpected turn of events. But there you go.
Cyrus Kirkpatrick talks too much in this clip, but he does make some interesting points. Kirkpatrick is an "astral traveler" who believes that anyone can visit the astral plane (the afterlife) through a method similar to an out-of-body experience. He also believes in spirit communication with the dead (who are of course still alive on the other side), for instance with the aid of copper dowsing rods. So far, Kirkpatrick sounds like any other New Age channel or medium you are likely to encounter.
Except, of course, that he doesn´t.
Cyrus half-jokingly, half-seriously refers to his philosophy as "Anti-Orb-of-Light-ism". His view of the astral plane is very concrete, almost "physical" or "material". We are reborn on the other side as individuals with all our earthly memories intact, interact with people we knew during our earthly lives, and have desires and interests similar to those of earthlings. Indeed, the astral world looks pretty much like our physical world, only better!
Apparently, some people do become seemingly impersonal and blissful "orbs of light", but this is really a "hollow heaven" for misanthropic people who crave such a non-human or anti-human existence, believing that this makes them more "spiritually advanced", "closer to God", or whatever. In reality, this amorphous state is a cul-de-sac, and people stuck in it usually reincarnate on the astral level anyway, when they snap out of their orb-of-light-ism.
Kirkpatrick and others like him (this is an entire milieu) believe that concepts such as "ego" or "egolessness" have been misinterpreted by New Age teachers. Getting rid of egoism is one thing, getting rid of your literal personality or individuality is something else again. Indeed, Cyrus rejects puritanical religion and believe that we should get *more* grounded in our desires and earthly pleasures, rather than giving them up. He sounds almost a bit "Tantric" here, and indeed references (esoteric) Tibetan Buddhism at this point.
Somehow, becoming more grounded on the physical plane and being reborn on the Earth-like astral plane prepares us for further spiritual-evolutionary advances on higher planes, although Cyrus isn´t sure exactly how (in other clips, he has talked positively about "The Law of One", a Theosophy-derived system.)
Personally, I feel that he is simply going too far in the other direction. Just as the orb-of-light-ists are apparently *shocked* by the suggestion that people in the afterlife have astral sex or eat chocolate, Kirkpatrick is downright hostile to the idea of a perfectly blissful merging with the Divine (and individual orbs-of-lights?). But what if I *want* to merge with the Divine just as much as our soul-traveler wants to eat astral bonbons? Why does every little religion constantly consign its opponents to some equivalent of the hell realms, in this case the "hollow heaven" which impedes your karmic growth or whatever?
Why can´t their be more than one path through Eternity?
What if the gods are real, but are a real bunch of jerks? I suppose you *could* describe the Buddhist position that way, since the devas are unenlightened and unaware of their own mortality. And then there are the asuras, who constantly fight the devas...and constantly looses.
Astral (and actual) traveler Cyrus Kirkpatrick comes close to this position in this clip. He argues that most higher-dimensional beings (i.e. what most people would call gods) are indifferent towards humanity, or even treat us as some kind of experiment. Although they might not be actively malign, these beings might nevertheless come across as callous. Only a few are compassionate and caring towards humanity (these would presumably be the bodhisattvas).
Of course, every other pagan religion probably sees the gods this way, so my Buddhist parallel comes from the fact that I have done some reading on that particular tradition. Cyrus seems to have reached his conclusions independently, though. And in contrast to the traditional position, he doesn´t see it worth the while to worship such creatures...
Cyrus Kirkpatrick, the paranormal researcher, strikes again, this time with some speculations about aliens and alien conspiracies. Or rather "aliens" within scare quotes, since he is to some extent inspired by "The Law of One" here. The beings we call "aliens" are really "higher density beings" and might as well be called spirits, souls or perhaps even a kind of humans on a higher level of cosmic evolution (and elevation). They are thus not part of our dimension of reality at all, although we can communicate with them in various ways. The medium showed in this clip apparently uses computers to talk to the "aliens", rather than more classical channeling. Cyrus himself uses copper rods!
The messages from the other side turn out to be highly contradictory. The medium named Gosia claims that the Nordics or Taygetans (tall blonde aliens with long flowing hair) have broken away from the Galactic Federation. The reason is that the Federation is misusing its power to keep humanity in perpetual ignorance and suffering, in effect stopping us from evolving any further. The Federation looks upon Earth as one gigantic artificial computer game in which all human souls are really players controlled by the program. The game is used by the federated "aliens" to incarnate on Earth and voluntarily go through various negative experiences (!), but to keep the game going, the real humans must remain subjugated to the matrix. Presumably, the Nordics believe this is unethical and wants to save humanity from the intrusive federal power, but it´s not entirely clear how.
Cyrus´ own spirit-plane contact, Lawrina, denies the info coming from Gosia, suggesting that the Galactic Federation are really the good guys and that the evil power is some cabal closer to home (that is, an earthly or at least Earth-based conspiracy). What is less clear is why the Nordics would claim otherwise.
Not sure if I believe any of this, but it does show the perils of inter-dimensional news broadcasts...
Cyrus Kirkpatrick makes a lot of sense here. I´m also positively allergic to the idea that evil and suffering is a "learning opportunity", "the school of hard knocks", "what doesn´t kill you makes you stronger", and all that crap. Was the Holocaust a learning opportunity for the gassed Jews? To take just a very obvious example. (OK, here´s another one: remember that depression you had 15 years ago? Great karmic lesson, thank you Geezus!) The most obvious problem with this position is that it makes God into a devil...
Kirkpatrick believes very strongly that our planet, for reasons he doesn´t discuss, is currently a very shitty and unbalanced place which attracts all kinds of negative spiritual entities that suck the energy of everything living. This suffering and pain is unnatural, and we don´t "learn" anything from it. Instead of keeping Earth in ignorance (so it can continue to be a "learning opportunity" for souls who need hard knocks), we should improve the world for the better. His proposals are not political, but rather spiritual: inform people that we have immortal souls, that materialism is wrong, that we can (and should) expand our consciousness. This will somehow block the demonic entities from infesting our world. Kirkpatrick has a soft spot for psychedelic drugs, which he believes "turns atheists into believers in a matter of minutes".
It´s interesting to note that the narrator isn´t a Gnostic, but has a very "concrete" and almost "materialist" view of the afterlife (which he refers to as the astral world). He isn´t a Christian by a long shot, but it struck me that his views have a family likeness to Christianity: matter (at least astral matter or imperishable matter) isn´t evil in itself, evil is spiritual and very real, and so are demons, who are presumably a kind of fallen angels. The solution isn´t to become a luminous orb in an ineffable Gnostic pleroma, but rather to spiritually reform our current embodied existence. I admit that I find this guy a breath of fresh air after reading too much New Age literature which claims that evil is an illusion, that the universe isn´t fallen but in perfect karmic balance...and all that bunk about the "learning experience".
I wouldn´t mind becoming a luminous orb in the pleroma, though. (Not sure what Cyrus has against that?) I offer this clip as a way to, ahem, "balance" the discussions on the metaphysical end of things...
Cyrus Kirkpatrick, a paranormal researcher and psychonaut, discusses both politics and the paranormal in the clip above. It´s quite long (about 45 minutes) and includes another experiment with the copper rods Cyrus is using to communicate with "Lawrina", the spirit of a departed Turkish woman who supposedly lived in Izmir about 100 years ago. I admit that I didn´t find his demonstration of the rods *that* convincing, since it´s possible Cyrus makes them move subconsciously by grasping them hard with his hands. That is, the very thing that supposedly stops them from moving is what makes them do so! And yes, that´s admittedly an armchair criticism... (Cyrus claims to have independently verified some of the info he got from Lawrina and other communicators.)
Cyrus wonders aloud why many experiments with the paranormal begin very well for the true believer and then gets progressively worse and worse, "confirming" the skeptics. This kind of paranormal fatigue seems to have plagued the field since its inception, making it difficult to make repeatable experiments (at least beyond a certain point). Cyrus believes that perhaps there is a "astral blockade" against sharing too much information. This actually sounds logical (provided the astral exists at all), but it also creates another opening for the skeptics, who can then write off the entire topic as "ad hoc". Lawrina apparently told Cyrus that the blockade is the result of a democratic decision at the other side!
Cyrus also discusses some recent political blow-ups at his forums, revealing that he is a centrist who voted Obama twice (I assumed he was more "based"). He had problems with both fanaticized leftists and ditto right-wingers, but at the moment, the former are the stronger faction.
Worth watching on a rainy summer day (which it is right now where I´m staying).
I have no idea whether this is true or not, but here we go! Cyrus Kirkpatrick communicates with a Turkish-Italian Muslim spirit nicknamed Lawrina with the help of two copper dowsing rods. Also contains some discussions about "reincarnation traps", Ouija boards and such things. Not for the faint of heart pseudo-skeptic.
Addendum: Nor for the faint of heart spiritual person. The comments about "the tunnel" and "reincarnation traps" below the Lawrina video are PARANOID.
"What is life REALLY like on the Astral Plane? Rare details" is a YouTube clip featuring Cyrus Kirkpatrick, an astral traveler and afterlife explorer (or purported such, if you´re of a more skeptical bent). Kirkpatrick´s channel is called Afterlife Topics and Metaphysics. It seems Kirkpatrick is finally back in the States, Tucson to be more exact, after being stuck somewhere in the Phillippines for most of the COVID pandemic. In this clip, he elaborates on his view of the afterlife, which he calls "the astral plane". He claims to have visited the afterlife during out-of-body experiences, and have interviewed its denizens.
Apparently, the inhabitants of the astral world call our world "the Earth plane", while there world is simply "Earth". It looks like an improved copy of our world. For instance, there are copies of our cities in the astral world, including astral versions of LA, Hong Kong, Jerusalem and even Tucson, Arizona. Paranormal abilities, such as telepathy, are considered normal. Teleportation and materialization of objects are skills that can be learned. Objects come and go, a house further down the street might not be there the next day, and this too is considered a normal thing. Time is less important, since important meetings can be held at once through telepathy, or people can bilocate (be at more than one place at the same time).
Many inhabitants of the astral create entire fantasy worlds through visualization. Ghosts exist on the astral plane - more exactly, the "ghosts" are physical people on the Earth plane, who are barely visible from the astral.
Technology is better on the other side. They had smart phones already 30 years ago! UFOs and aliens visit the astral Earth on a semi-regular basis, apparently without anyone raising an eyebrow.
A curious detail is that astral humans are potentially mortal. Surprisingly enough, there are both wars and conflicts in the afterlife, and people who join such "causes" can be hurt so badly that their astral bodies in effect die. The only way to fix the problem is by reincarnating on our Earth plane, whereby new astral bodies are created! Kirkpatrick therefore advises everyone to stay out of such conflicts...
A critic might argue that Kirkpatrick´s description of the astral plane sounds strangely dream-like, and that this proves it *is* a dream. Indeed, Kirkpatrick says in another YouTube clip that out-of-body experiences can be consciously induced during sleep paralysis! What skeptics take as proof against an afterlife, is here turned into a mechanism to explore a supposedly real afterlife state.
With that little observation, I close this review.

Kirkpatrick has a very "concrete" view of the afterlife. After the death of the physical body, the astral body is reborn in a kind of twin world to Earth, where life continues pretty much as normal, except better. For this reason, Kirkpatrick is sharply critical of mediums who claim that the afterlife state is in many ways *worse* than life on Earth (I´m surprised such people even exist), or "better" in a purely spiritual sense (we become luminous orbs of light).
In this clip, he takes on the former idea. Apparently, a certain medium have claimed that there is no chocolate in heaven, a depressive thought roundly mocked at Kirkpatrick´s web forum. Kirkpatrick believes that some astral bodies might simply be incompatible with life on the astral planes, presumably due to negative thoughts and actions while the individual was physically alive, and that this clouds their perceptions of "the other side". Such a person in effect becomes a kind of ghost at the astral plane, being unable to fully sense it (including the taste of astral chocolate).
In reality, the astral plane is just a small part of a vast multiverse, and the only limitations to experience are all in our own mind...
This is a remarkable YouTube clip from Cyrus Kirkpatrick´s channel "Afterlife topics and Metaphysics". Kirkpatrick got corona a few months ago and still suffer from various weird symptoms, although the infection as such is gone. He is *pissed* at various conspiracy theorists on the web who claim that corona doesn´t even exist, that sick people are faking it, or that they are somehow deluded. I find this clip interesting precisely because Kirkpatrick is very open minded and "alternative". I mean, most of his channel deals with some pretty extreme out of body experiences! Personally, I don´t think the whole truth surrounding corona has been revealed yet (isn´t it at least a *little* bit suspicious that it started at the only wet market in East Asia that´s situated right outside a virological institute?), and neither does Kirkpatrick, but it´s perfectly obvious that the virus in itself is nasty and real...
Cyrus Kirkpatrick is an “astral
traveler” and paranormal investigator with his very own YouTube channel, called
“Afterlife Topics and Metaphysics”. In this clip, he discusses the origins of
evil. I haven´t read the controversial channeled material (known as “Law of One”)
the discussion is based on, but I did notice that David Wilcock and Corey Goode
also promote it, as do many others. This comment is therefore based solely on
Kirkpatrick´s content.
In contrast to much of what passes
for New Age, Kirkpatrick believes that evil is a real thing, not simply an “illusion”.
This is logical, since his general worldview emphasizes that the astral planes
(often seen as a grand illusion) are just as real as our physical existence.
Kirkpatrick´s attitude is very “empirical”, so obviously he would regard evil
as real, too (it can, after all, be experienced empirically). Nor does
Kirkpatrick believe that matter is evil, and that all spiritual entities or
realities must therefore be loving and good. Kirkpatrick instead holds that we
are astrally embodied (my term) in the afterlife, and that our lives in many
ways continue as before. Our “heaven” is a place where we reunite with our
loved ones, live in houses, watch TV, perhaps even work. The point of our
earthly existence is to “graduate” at a higher level, and I assume that´s one
point of our astral afterlife existence, too. Therefore, matter can´t be
fundamentally evil. Neither, of course, is spirit, but the point is that evil
comes from the spiritual, being a distorted form of it.
Kirkpatrick is not a dualist in the
Manichean or Zoroastrian senses either. At bottom, there is only one divine
life force, which is wholly good. Evil arises when highly evolved spirit-beings
use the life force that manifests through their spirit-bodies for selfish ends,
rather than for the collective good. In this way, “service to other people”
gets transformed into “service of self”. Kirkpatrick seems to have reached this
conclusion by observing narcissists and sociopaths in real life (he says his
father was an extreme narcissist), noting that they actually seem to be highly “spiritual”
and charismatic, but in a warped kind of way. They do have love and empathy,
but only for their own ego! It struck me that many New Age people may follow
teachers who are narcissistic and sociopathic, which may explain why they don´t
connect the dots.
Another difference between
Kirkpatrick and many others is that he doesn´t see evil as entirely chaotic. Sociopathic
evil is elaborate and cunning. There is such a thing as organized evil, perhaps
even a kind of hierarchy of evil. (Compare the Borg in Star Trek.) Thus, we
could imagine an entire planet ruled by an evil dictator who nevertheless manages
to keep law and order by making everyone bow to him and cater to his wishes. He
might even give the planetary inhabitants certain individual freedoms, the
better to keep overall control. (This sounds like a metaphor for…well, 21st
century global capitalism.)
Of course, there *is* an established
religion which claims that evil is real, matter isn´t evil in itself, that evil
is spiritual, that it´s connected to egoism, that it´s not entirely chaotic. It
also claims that a certain Satan was a fallen angel… Yes, that would be
Christianity.
“Is the Earth a Prison Planet?” is a
YouTube clip featuring astral traveler and paranormal investigator Cyrus
Kirkpatrick. He discusses the seemingly bizarre idea that the Earth is a
“prison planet” used by aliens to get rid of their criminals. These therefore
reincarnate in our world as humans (perhaps particularly evil or vile humans).
This take on things is mostly associated with Scientology, but is really an old
religious concept – the belief that this world is fallen and that we are here
as a form of punishment. In the modern world, this gets turned into a scenario
involving UFOs and aliens. In the clip, Kirkpatrick shows a trailer to a film
produced by the “Farsight Institute”, a weird group that apparently believes in
notions of this kind. He then discusses whether the concept has some kind of
merit. Kirkpatrick seems to believe that although Earth in general is *not* a
prison planet, one cannot rule out that certain individuals really do end up
here because they are unwanted elsewhere. Kirkpatrick´s own father had
near-paranormal powers of charisma, which he often used for nefarious purposes,
and Kirkpatrick feels that this could be one example. “Afterlife topics and
metaphysics” (the name of the channel) contains many clips that are (at least
from my perspective) a blend of the reasonable and the really far out. For some
strange reason (my horoscope, perhaps?), I find this strangely fascinating…
Cyrus Kirkpatrick is an “astral
explorer” in the proud tradition of Robert Monroe. He believes that the soul
has the ability to leave the physical body and explore the astral realms beyond
our mundane everyday existence. This phenomenon, often known as Out of Body
Experience, has obvious similarities to a Near Death Experience. Occultists
call it astral projection. Kirkpatrick believes that his soul (or astral body)
lives a kind of parallel life on the astral planes. He has a house and a family
in an astral city! I haven´t read Kirkpatrick´s book, but have started to
follow his YouTube channel. Some of the content is pretty wild, while on other
points, our traveler actually sounds more reasonable than many New Age faithful
(not to mention cultists). I suppose the astral planes are somewhat complex…
In this clip, Kirkpatrick argues that
the afterlife does *not* mean that everyone turns into fluffy quasi-perfect and
presumably impersonal balls of light (or something to that effect), rather we
have a personal and even somewhat “bodily” life on the other side, surely a
more appealing perspective to many people. If you take Near Death Experiences
seriously, they certainly seem to indicate that our personalities will remain
intact even in a spiritual state, and that the heavenly existence has strong
resemblances to earthly incarnation. In general, I get the impression that
almost all religions have huge problems with NDEs, since they always contradict
some of their cherished dogmas…
Since I just dissed Cyrus Kirkpatrick´s weird content on Hitler (see previous post), it´s time to give the astral devil (or is it deva) his due. "The whereabouts of Hitler in the Afterlife discovered?" is a slightly absurd YouTube clip featuring Cyrus Kirkpatrick, of whom I know very little. Apparently, Kirkpatrick is an "astral traveler" who once met Kim Jong-il in the afterlife (here identified with the astral world) inside a spiritual copy of North Korea. At another time, he visited an astral city where he watched a documentary on TV about the whereabouts of notorious war-criminal and Nazi Führer, Adolf Hitler.
It seems Hitler is living a quiet life together with Eva Braun on the astral planes. When asked about his major accomplishment in life, he started discussing his relationship with Eva. Both Hitler and Mrs Braun looked elderly, in their 70´s, perhaps because they managed to escape to Argentina after the war and didn´t die until a ripe old age. The other Nazis, on the other hand, were much worse than Herr Hitler and their souls therefore disappeared under mysterious circumstances after their physical deaths. Nobody in Astral City knows where they are, but Kirkpatrick speculates that Hell is an appropriate location. The documentary on Astral Channel ended with Hitler refusing to speak to a large rally of Nazis (?) or perhaps just interested people in general, instead quietly absconding into the good night together with his beloved Eva... WTF??? Even from a purely occult view, this makes literally ZERO sense, since the astral is the realm of subjective wish-fulfilment. Whose wishes were being fulfilled (Hitler´s, Kirkpatrick´s, Hitler´s pet dog´s maybe) I cannot say. What the traveler saw was simply a reflection of his own vivid imagination, and warped view of Third Reich history, projected onto the Akasha...
