Storstockholm

 

Har just lärt mig något nytt. Närmare bestämt detta: "Storstockholm eller Stor-Stockholm är en av SCB definierad storstadsregion i Sverige som sedan 1 januari 2005 omfattar alla kommuner i Stockholms län; tidigare var inte Norrtälje kommun, Nykvarns kommun, Nynäshamns kommun och Södertälje kommun delar av Storstockholm."

Det jag lärde mig är alltså att Stockholms län och Stor-Stockholm numera är identiska begrepp. Och har varit det i över 20 år! Hade jag ingen aning om.

Stockholm är så jävla stort att t.o.m. Norrland blir en förort...

Herbicidal

A review of Klorex 55, a band on the Klesha label. 

I'm not sure what this style of music is called. Some kind of techno? Not my cup of decaf, I'm afraid. I'm more into Euro-disco and German schlager! The band (or artist) is Swedish (at least the label is), and named after a herbicide which could also be used to fabricate explosives. Apparently, it was banned by the proper authorities in 1990. Unless I'm mistaken, Klesha 1 also promotes EAD (Exotic African Dou) and other very obscure projects at the outer fringe of the cultural construction commonly known as “music”.
