Hübinette citerar Expressen, som anser sig veta vad det var SD fick i utbyte mot att ge upp "angiverilagen". Tydligen ska det vara ett moratorium på beviljande av nya svenska medborgarskap. Kanske, kanske inte. "We just have to wait and see". 

Hübinette driver annars linjen att både SD och den övriga "extremhögern" är extremt framgångsrika. En annan möjlig tolkning är ju att etablissemanget håller på att krama ihjäl dem. Se den andra länken nedan!

Unless I´m mistaken: France, Germany and the Netherlands have all re-introduced border controls. That is, border controls directed at *other EU member states*. Does that mean that the Schengen agreement has died in the dark?

(PP är Piratpartiet, VL är Värdigt Liv som tydligen är en valallians mellan Feministiskt Initiativ och Partiet Vändpunkt. Observera att Folklistan inte syns i valresultatet! Lite anmärkningsvärt att PP fick 3% av ungdomarnas "röster", även om just detta knappast är det viktigaste inslaget i den här undersökningen.)

In all fairness, World Socialist Web Site (WSWS) opposed the NPF and their alliance with Macron. If their take on the new Barnier government is true, is perhaps another matter entirely. Sure, Macron "played" the leftists, but perhaps he is trying to "play" the RN with a government that LARPs "far right", while actually being centrist/pro-EU BAU?

But of course, that´s above the head of the WSWS, which regards everyone to the right of themselves as "fascist" or at the very least "fascistic". I mean, these guys accused Justin Trudeau of conspiring with far right terrorists?!

And yeah, I know that the guys behind the WSWS are a minuscule Trotskyist sect...

The losers form the new government in France. As expected. New French revolution to follow? Or another Vendée, perchance? 

At least Macron was clever enough to appoint a Prime Minister from the centrist wing of the Republican party, rather than from his own alliance. If that gives him plausible deniability is perhaps another matter entirely...

So Mario Draghi´s recent report on EU competitiveness wants to centralize the union and invest heavily in the defense industries, the green transition and digitalization (including AI), all financed by massive debt.

Oh. Or LOL? It´s as if the worst ideas of the right met the worst ideas of the left. 

Why is Europe *really* lagging behind the US and China? Here´s an idea: there is no "Green transition" in the United States and the PRC. And until recently, the "Green transition" in Europe was compensated for by cheap Russian oil and gas. Or maybe more expensive nuclear. That´s no longer the case, so here we are. 

So the only way to really get economic growth would be a brownlash extraordinaire. So I suppose we have to choose: saving the planet (forever) or saving Europe (for now). 

I suppose those defense industries might come in handy, though.

Kan ingen förklara för Fria Tiders semestervikarie att nyvalet i Frankrike alltså *inte* gäller presidentposten, utan Nationalförsamlingen? LOL. Har de supit så jävla hårt på redaktionen efter valnederlaget för AfS att de inte längre kan läsa vanliga nyhetstelegram? 

Populistisk gryning?

 

Hur många röster fick nationalister och populister i EU-valen? Från Hübinettes blogg. Vad som inte framgår är förändringar sedan tidigare val, samt valdeltagandet. 

Sedan kan man ju ifrågasätta Hübinettes definitioner i vissa fall. Varför kallar han slovakiska Smer eller tjeckiska CSSD för "höger"? Smer är snarast vänsterpopulister, CSSD är socialdemokrater. Visst, CSSD har anklagats för att vara pro-ryska, men i så fall är det tjeckiska kommunistpartiet rimligtvis också "högerradikala" enligt denna definition! Och om Smer är med på listan, varför är inte slovakiska Hlas det också? Hlas är en klon av Smer. 

Och varför är ungerska Jobbik med på listan? De är höger, visst, men de är mot Orbán. Och så vidare. Om CSSD är med för att de är pro-ryska, borde Jobbik således inte vara med eftersom de är anti-ryska...
