For instance, Brigham Young didn´t stop Mormon polygamy, rather he was the guy expanding it and even making it public! Still, kinda funny.

Styx says that it isn´t a great mystery why birth rates are falling. I disagree. Birth rates are falling all over the world. I assume #MeToo or feminism doesn´t exist in, say, Niger? The cause of the demographic crisis must be global. None of the factors he mentions fits the bill, not even overcrowding. Many "Third World" nations are clearly more overcrowded than the Western ones, yet their birth rates (while falling) are still above replacement level. Again: Niger. 

I admit I have no idea why the birth rates are falling, including in areas where they "shouldn´t". It´s almost as if the Moon does eat people, or something.

Styx argues that there *is* real occultism in the Harry Potter series of books and films. Ironically, the evangelical Christians who condemned the franchise didn´t know anything about it, being more upset about the Hollywood pseudo-magic and the dark Halloween-style outfits...

I never read a single Harry Potter novel, and only saw two of the movies (I think) back in the days, so I have no idea what the Hand of Glory might be, or how Rowling referenced mermaids or the cockatrice. Still, the video is somewhat interesting, so here you go! 

The dread Necronomicon

 

An old video c/o Styxhexenhammer666, in which he discusses the dread Necronomicon. Or rather Simon´s Necronomicon, which is apparently considered to be a deliberate prank. For the record, I never read it. 

Styx points out that Simon´s work isn´t that different from other grimoires which occultists treat as "authentic", such as the Lesser Keys of Solomon or the Book of Abramelin the Mage. Both are Renaissance works but are supposedly based on much older sources. Which they may or may not be, the point being that they *work* (at least if you believe in the arcane arts of black magick). Styx never mentions the word, but I think it´s "egregore". The idea being that anything imbued with magical energy from a larger group of true believers "works" precisely for that reason. So why couldn´t the allegedely fake magical rituals described in Simon´s Necronomicon work, too? 

Styx also says that he never seen any evidence that "Simon" was ironic when writing his work, and that it may contain real Sumerian lore, cuz why not? Personally, I wonder if there is a connection to the pseudo-Sumerian demon in "The Exorcist"! Why else make a connection to Sumeria rather than, say, Egypt or Atlantis? It must be a commercial ploy, at the very least.

Oh, and there´s a dread cat in the background in the YouTube video. Muh-hah-hah!

Note that Styx (the guy in the pirate hat above) explicitly says that the chase is better than the catch when it comes to mysteries. An attitude I long suspected that many Schwärmers have. Their mystery-mongering is deliberate. 

This week´s mystery are some kind of radio pulses seemingly coming from under the ice in Antarctica. Yepp, an excellent tie-in for lost Nazi expeditions, alien underground bases, the Lost Civilization or what have you!

Isn´t Styx a Green libertarian anymore? He sounds like a Big Government/Yuge Military guy here, even calling for more and larger nuclear weapons, air superiority, global US dominance to maintain trade routes, et cetera. 

"I´m not a globalist", he quips. True in a sense, but he´s certainly a nationalist interventionist who wants half of the world as US allies. It may not be "globo-homo" but it´s certainly globo-hetero! The usual term used to be "great power imperialism"...

In other words: he supports Donald Trump, now even more than ever. This video could be seen as the collapse of libertarianism. If we ever needed more evidence that libertarianism is just a LOL-bertarian meme ideology!

Ior Bock (1942-2010) was a Swedish-speaking eccentric, druggie and cultist from Finland who apparently invented an entire mythology, known as "The Bock Saga". I admit that I first heard about this colorful character at the YouTube channel of American influencer Styxhexenhammer666! But then, here in Sweden we don´t usually track the eccentrics, Swedish-speaking or not, from our eastern neighbor.

Judging by Wiki´s article (see link below), Bock´s private mythology isn´t *entirely* original. Think Hyperborea, Sweden is Atlantis, the Arctic Home in the Vedas, Thor Heyerdahl...that kind of stuff. Bock´s more colorful contributions include a bizarre obsession with sex and "fertility" rituals, but this is probably derived from extreme Left Hand Path Tantra (Bock spent considerable time at a beach in Goa). 

Apparently, the old fool was stabbed to death by a mentally unstable Indian he took with him back to Finland as his "assistant". I sure wonder if something more "Tantric" could have been involved somehow...

The GOP can still lose, here´s how!

 

A talkative but interesting analysis of the upcoming midterm elections in the United States. 

The Republicans have problems due to the evangelicals and their opposition to abortion and secular education. Styx is worried that the GOP might either lose the midterms or at most stalemate the Dems. 

Since all opinion polls in the US are uncertain or even manipulated, it´s really difficult to know, but I wouldn´t be too surprised if this was true...

Botflies

 

Elon Musk probably suspects that more than 5% of Twitter accounts are bots. Content-creator Styx (here above) agrees and believes that it´s *much* more than 5%. On some accounts, the number of bots must be around 90%. Styx believes that CNN is one such culprit. If Musk buys Twitter and purges all bots, wouldn´t it be funny if he also throws out the official media accounts, since they constantly break the rules? 

Styx also drops some hints that maybe Musk is secretely colluding with Trump backstage, since at this point, if Musk wouldn´t go through with the Twitter buy-out, the company´s stock would dramatically plummet in value, perhaps forcing Twitter out of business altogether. This would leave Trump´s Truth Social as the only viable alternative. Speculation at this point, but who knows? 

(Another conspiracy theory, not mentioned here, is that Musk is fronting for a certain Deep State faction that wants to take over Twitter and use it for its own nefarious ends, including gate-keeping of conservatives.)
