Senator Lindsey Graham was probably one of the people who "turned" Trump on Ukraine (back to the pro-Ukrainian fold), so it will be interesting to see if he is right about this. I assume he is well-informed?

The Hamas Nazis can end the conflict (and impending famine) at any time by simply surrendering and release the hostages, but are clearly unable or unwilling to do so. So rather than continuing the never-ending cycle of negotiations, withdrawals and renewed offensives, maybe its time for Israel to finally recapture the Gaza strip and behead Hamas once and for all. 

Note that Graham explicitly says that "the Arabs" should control the West Bank and Gaza. Which can mean whatever, but perhaps it opens a small window to a two-state solution, in which Fatah and allied forces control the Palestinian territories? That would also be in keeping with the Abraham accords. 

Of course, none of this shit would have happened if that great hero of the Palestinian resistance, Yasser Arafat, had accepted Bill Clinton´s offer of a two-state solution circa 30 years ago, but apparently you can´t say that, cuz "pro-Zionism" or something...

It was long assumed that Russia would try to destabilize the United States by weaponizing the Latino population in the Southwest. Or even the Blacks. Instead, they weaponized the far right and conspiracist milieux through social media! I don´t think anyone saw that coming. It was a master stroke. After all, the relevant conspiracy theories (or - in some cases - conspiracy truths) are very similar to the worldview of the Russian nationalists themselves. Indeed, they might even have common origins, in so far as they can be traced back historically with any confidence.

However, there is another possible vector for Russian destabilization. *As far as we know, the conspiracy theory that Trump colluded with Russia in 2015-16 may have been planted by Putin´s intelligence service*. Its purpose was to be picked up by the Democrats, thereby creating political pandemonium in the America. If this scenario is correct (I blogged about it before), the Russians *really* made a master move. Meanwhile, vested Western interests corrupted themselves with Russian oil money (not to mention the gas and the uranium). 

Win - win - win for the Russian Federation. Let´s hope they are worse at fighting wars of attrition than they are at propagandizing social-media consumers and buying off metropolitan elites...

Why aren´t there more conspiracy theories about J D Vance? This "man for all seasons" seems to have changed both his name, his looks and his views in order to become Trump´s veep. And his voice? And his body language?! 

*Is it really the same J D Vance that was elected senator for Ohio in 2022*? If Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump has body doubles while Joe Biden had five of them, what are we to make of this?

Is it possible that the elected senator was an alien, while the current vice president is the human substitute? Maybe Alex Jones should take a look at this...

The above seems to be correct. But note that *both* Biden´s and Trump´s popular votes were anomalously high in 2020. 

So if the extreme Dem popular vote that year is evidence for massive vote fraud (perhaps through ballot harvesting), what are we to make of the Trump votes? The Truthers want to re-open the 2020 election fraud case, but something tells me nobody upstairs will listen...

I expect historians to dig into this around 2060 or so.

On Tuesday, Joe Biden said that he could consider leaving the race in case of a "medical condition". On Wednesday, Biden got COVID.

Or did he? Maybe this is just the excuse he needs to gracefully bow out of the presidentials.

So what actually happened? Did Barack Obama finally convince Jill and Hunter that Joe Biden isn´t fit for fight? Or did Hillary Clinton strongarm the entire Obama-Biden clique?

The most bizarre speculation is that Joe Biden isn´t really Joe Biden, but his fourth body double?! Yeaaaah, probably a troll.

As I said before, the US election is a stand-off between a liberal Democrat who pretends to be Pat Buchanan and a Neo-Con who pretends to be Socialist Alternative. The latter is flanked by Republican patriarchs pretending to be feminists, while the former has secret connections to a green frog named Pepe. The main runner up is a guy who wants to legalize cannabis and worries about what will happen when the sun goes nova in 2 billion years, while another “serious alternative” isn't even on the ballot in all 50 states. I admit that I find all this very entertaining, but I also suspect that I might stop laughing when the November surprise fix is finally in. Not to mention that little detail about World War III between the US and Russia, with Al-Qaeda clones fighting on the American side…

Posted in 2014. Today, the political line up probably looks a bit different! 

"The Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama Administration" is a short pamphlet exposing real or percieved Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan) operators in the upper echelons of the U.S. administration. The foremost is supposedly Huma Abedin, a long-time aide to Hillary Clinton. As far as I understand, no direct evidence exists to link Abedin to the Ikhwan, and the claim is widely regarded as a crazy conspiracy theory. Note, by the way, that Abedin, a supposed Muslim fundamentalist, is married to a Jew, something prohibited by traditional Islam!

But sure, I don't doubt that the Muslim Brotherhood has supporters with access to high-ranking U.S. establishment figures. Of course they do. The United States and other Western governments have long supported the "moderate", conservative wing of Muslim fundamentalism as an antidote to Soviet Communism, secular Arab nationalism and openly radical Muslim fundamentalism á la Iran. The U.S.-Saudi alliance is an obvious example. American support for Zia ul-Haq's Pakistan and the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan (including one Osama bin-Laden) are others. When the Arab Spring strengthened the Muslim Brotherhood and similar groups across the Middle East, the United States swiftly decided to support the Ikhwan in both Egypt and Syria. Note also the stealth "Islamization" (fundamentalization) of NATO member Turkey.

Hillary Clinton's pro-Ikhwan actions are simply the most recent expressions of a long-standing U.S. policy, not the direct result of Muslim Brotherhood infiltration and subterfuge. This would be true even if Abedin turns out to be a deep undercover Ikhwan mole (which I strongly doubt). This context is always lacking in publications associated with David Horowitz' "Freedom Center", no doubt because Horowitz really supports the Republican wing of the U.S. political establishment, who are just as implicated as everyone else. It seems that the Huma Abedin allegations are the conservative version of the popular liberal urban legend that Bush II and Wolfowitz started the Iraqi war due to inspiration from one Leo Strauss...

For a sarcastic commentary on the entire fracas, see "Bachmann: Muslim Brotherhood secret agent?" by Juan Cole, available on the web. While I wouldn't agree with Cole on everything (I mean, the guy claims that the Ikhwan isn't a terrorist organization!), his article does show that Mideast politics are, ahem, pretty complicated...

This is the flag of the "Free Syrian Army", which fights to overthrow the current Syrian regime of Bashar Assad. While Assad's Baath Party has a philosophy somewhere in between Stalinism and fascism, are the rebels really any better?

Are we to believe media reports, the CIA has sent personnel to the Turkish-Syrian border to vet the rebels who are receiving money and arms from Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. In this manner, the USA makes sure that all arms and cash go to respectable liberal democrats with an impeccable human rights record, while al-Qaeda and other murky forces receive nothing at all.

Gee, that's reassuring. Especially given the fact that the "liberal democrats" are a front for the Muslim Brotherhood...

I'm being sarcastic.

Still, I suppose it's a good thing that Madame Clinton has sent some top notch intelligence experts to make sure that only "our" fundamentalists get the arms. I mean, they were quite useful against the Commies in Afghanistan, weren't they? Besides, these loyal and grateful mujahedeen fighters never bite the hand that feeds them, right? Just look at Osama bin-Laden...

Or am I out on some kind of limb here?

PS. Mitt and David Horowitz have exactly the same foreign policy as Ms. Clinton. Just so you know. :-(
