Back to the USSR?

A review of "Biological Aspects of Rare Plant Conservation" 

This book contains papers from an international conference on...surprise...plant conservation. However, the conference in question was 32 years ago. Some articles are about the USSR! Call me a pessimist, but I think the rare plants mentioned in this work might be all gone today (so is the USSR). Seriously out of date, although perhaps interesting for Russian botanists in its own day.

I'm moving on...
