A review of "World Parliament of the Peoples for Peace, Sofia, September 23-27, 1980". The pro-Amazon stuff is old, they purged me (Sofia-style) in 2018...
Believe it or not, but I've actually seen this book for real. It's an incredibly boring (and incredibly large) collection of documents from the World Parliament of Peoples for Peace, held in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia in 1980. It may be the only "Bulgarian" book I've ever seen. And yes, there are many photos of Bulgarian Communist leader Todor Zhivkov in it. Unless my memory fails me, there's also a large portrait of Leonid Brezhnev, complete with all his medals.
In fact, that's about all I do remember. I seem to have misplaced my copy of this almost ridiculously obscure publication. I never understood what "The World Parliament" was, but apparently we are dealing with an event organized by the World Peace Council, a pro-Soviet front organization based in Finland. This according to Wikipedia.
Another meaningless little mystery cleared up. Hats off for Amazon (for selling everything) and Wikipedia (for writing about everything).
And now...back to main frame. Process theology, anyone?
