A review of "Your Pets´ Past Lives and How They Can Heal You" by Madeleine Walker
I didn't read all of this material. It's pretty
extreme stuff. It also seems to be typical of the kind of books published by
Findhorn Press!
Madeleine Walker is a counsellor who does past life regressions on both humans and animals. She claims that pets and their owners often reincarnate together, i.e. they were together in a previous life, too. Sometimes, humans are reborn as animals. Animals of one species can reincarnate as members of another species, as when Walker claims that a German Shepherd was a lion in its previous life.
Getting access to these past life memories enable Walker's clients to reach closure and get healing. Sometimes the animal has been reborn specifically to protect or heal the owner, with which they had a connection in a previous life. The Archangel Michael makes a guest appearance, and so do unicorns. Walker also claims that a certain horse is a reincarnated Golden Horse from Atlantis. They were very rare. Here, Walker starts to sound a bit like our old favourite Diana Cooper!
Not sure how to rate this little book. Two stars?
