"Alpine biodiversity of Europe" isn't just about the Alps. It
covers all high mountain ranges in Europe, from the Scandes to the Urals and
the Caucasus. Contains extensive presentations of vegetation types and
invertebrate groups from various Alpine regions. Vertebrates are covered, too.
Unfortunately, the book is very technical and unsuitable for the general
reader. This is a book for scientists by scientists.
