Dogs, more dogs and animated dogs

This comes across as a documentary for children, with a lot of funny animated stuff. I admit that it annoyed me somewhat. The dogs and the dog-lovers were slightly less annoying, so perhaps I could give this cute little program three stars anyway.

The topic? The evolution of dogs from wolves, various gene-related discussions, and an interview with a Berkeley geneticist who reluctantly allows his family to get a dog! The experimental farm in Siberia, where a team of Russian scientists have domesticated foxes to the point of making them look like dogs, is also featured. Meanwhile, a group of U.S. scientists are trying to domesticate wolves, with little success. I suppose this gives new meaning to the expression "barking mad"...

Otherwise, "Dogs and more dogs" features papillons, salukis, huskies, border collies and (I think) Pyr pups.
And, as I said, animated comics.
