Shake of larks

A review of "Lake of Sharks", a non-canonical Tintin adventure.

Not sure why so many fans of the Tintin franchise hate this one. It's, ahem, a real Tintin adventure, guys. So it wasn't made by Hergé himself, so what? I'm sure Donald Duck isn't made by Walt Disney anymore, and I'm pretty sure King James writes no more Bibles either. This is a straightforward Tintinesque story developed by people in Hergé's immediate entourage. No, it's not a “real” comic album, but rather a still picture version of an animated cartoon. But once again, so what? My only problem with the story is that, ahem, there doesn't seem to be any sharks in it…
