Badlands Bigfoot meet Uncle Charlie in Connecticut...sort of

This isn't really the fourth season of "Finding Bigfoot", but the second half of season three. Somehow, the series is getting more and more absurd.

How can the BFRO team still believe that Bigfoot is an ordinary, flesh-and-blood ape? In these episodes, Bigfoot shows up in the Badlands of South Dakota, on highways, in farmland and even in Connecticut, the most densely populated U.S. state. In one episode, Bobo feels forced to contact a local paranormal researcher, who claims that several Bigfeet show up at the local cemetery, communicating with each other through wood-knocks! In Connecticut, Bigfoot has glowing red eyes...

See a pattern developing?

The most logical episode is titled "The heart of Squatchness", and features a unique BFRO expedition to a remote area of Vietnam, where the locals claim to have seen the Wildman (called Tari in the series), a Bigfoot-like creature. Vietnam is teeming with relatively large animals only recently discovered, so I suppose an unknown ape or mega-monkey *could* live there. So does the Vietnamese government, which actually created a national park to protect the Wildman! What is it with these Communists, which make them believe in "their" wildmen? Same thing in the Soviet Union and China. Official state Darwinism? Ironically, the Wildman has also been reported by American soldiers during the Vietnam War. They were throwing rocks at the intruders! Is the Wildman a VC? They even hide in caves along the former Ho Chi Min trail! :D

But sure, "Finding Bigfoot" is interesting and, in its own way, entertaining. If you are a crypto-zoology geek (or is it spook?), recommended all the way to Connecticut! But please don't tell me we are dealing with some kind of stray gorilla subspecies here...
