A dead machine?

This is scary. Really. Amazon truly is our indefatigable vendor of all products we didn't even know existed, let alone thought we needed. They even sell a photographic poster of a dead Gurdjieff?!

For those who don't know, G.I. Gurdjieff was a rogue guru from Armenia whose "spiritual path" (or cultic conundrum) is known as The Fourth Way or The Work. In fact, his behaviour was frequently so erratic and weird that he scared away many of his supporters, including the chief disciple P.D. Ouspensky...

I'm sure G's followers have this poster above their kitchen sinks, woodstoves, stable doors or wherever they are carrying out menial work while trying to decipher the long-winding pseudo-Armenianisms of "Beelzebub's Tales to his Grandson", the man's magnum opus a.k.a. holy writ.

As I said, scary. I mean, what's next? A poster of Mulla Nassr Eddin onboard the Karnak?
Sheesh!
