This is a peculiar little e-pamphlet ("Reading the Bible the Orthodox Way"), in which author
John Peck tries to explain “the Orthodox way” on how to read the Scriptures. He
says we should read them aloud, apply the verses to ourselves and act on them
immediately. This, of course, is *not* the Orthodox way to read the Bible. It
is, ahem, the Protestant way… What makes the thing so curious is that the very
same writer has written a companion e-pamphlet, “Interpreting the Bible the
Orthodox Way”, which actually does explain the Eastern Orthodox approach to the
Bible?! Then, what is the purpose of this little diversion?
