"Mystery of Melchizedek" is a short and not particularly mysterious
exegetic 101 about Melchizedek and the epistle to the Hebrews. It doesn't say
anything new or out of the ordinary, except (perhaps) when author Chuck Missler
indicates that the period when Israel was God's chosen people is a “Jewish
parenthesis”, something I suppose classical dispensationalists would not say. However,
he doesn't elaborate. Nor does the article mention any new discoveries in
Jerusalem, as the editorial review claims. Something of a disappointment,
actually. I had expected something more along the lines of, say, Michael Heiser
or even Margaret Barker!
