Revenge of the nerds

OK, let me guess. All the recent talk about the so-called new continent of Zealandia is really a clever attempt by the NZ tourist industry to promote their nation as a new holiday destination? I suppose it could also be an attempt by NZ geologists to get more attention to their college classes. Unless it's a revenge by the nerds, who are still angry at the IAU for demoting Pluto from its hallowed status of planet extraordinaire…

I admit a certain sympathy for the latter position.
