So cakes are exempted from VAT in the United Kingdom?
Geezus, that's dangerous. I can eat three packages of Jaffa cakes in one
sitting, so the statement that this three-pack will "keep the entire
family busy for a while" is clearly about somebody else. A normal British
family, perhaps?
If I ever become a "doomsday prepper", I'm gonna stash Jaffa cakes for at least one year in my mountain cabin AND DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO STOP LOOTERS AND MARAUDERS FROM ENTERING THE PREMISES.
And I'm not talking VAT exemption here, kids. :-0
