Oh no, another photo of Pasadena Theosophy First Lady, Katherine Augusta Tingley. She created the quasi-utopian community of Lomaland at Point Loma, California, which she claimed had been an important part of ancient Lemuria. Presumably, with an earlier incarnation of herself as high priestess. Tingley also had a weird connection to Sweden, establishing a presence at Visingsö in Lake Vättern. According to one rumour, she claimed to be a reincarnation of 17th century Swedish statesman Per Brahe, whose castle had been situated on the island! I think Madame Tingley was making everything up, but then, that's me. Personally, I'm a reincarnation of Karl Sverkersson. I don't like intruders on my island. Just so you know.
