Hilarious,
nostalgic, romantic, bizarre... It's difficult to review a portrait of Howard
Menger and his wife, whose real name I believe was Connie, not Marla. Menger
was a UFO contactee, who claimed that space aliens taught him how to play the
piano and took him on a trip to the Moon. Connie was a reporter, initially
assigned to write an article on the strange guy. Later, they got married! Even
later, the space brothers informed him that he was actually from Saturn, while
Connie was a Venusian.
I'm not sure what to think of Menger and his many odd claims (except that he can't possibly be right - why would aliens play the piano, when they can listen to the music of the spheres, LOL), but this framed portrait is probably a must have if you're a UFO-logy subculture insider.
Brought to you by Mary Evans Picture Library. And Mary Evans was, of course, the wife of Hilary Evans, who wrote books on...UFOs.
