The Cosmic Christ Can Sing

Thomas Di Leva is Sweden's very own Cosmic Chrestus. This is his greatest hits album, "För Sverige, I Rymden". The title is freely based on the motto of the Swedish king. However, while His Majesty says "For Sweden, in our modern times", Di Leva says "For Sweden, in space". As behoves the Cosmic One!

Not much needs to be said about Di Leva's flim-flam pop, except that most of it is in Swedish (at least at this collection). Virtually every song is about the New Age, flowers, butterflies, the God within, and so forth. "Naked Number One" is based on the mystery thesis that Jesus is Dionysus (don't play it at your church!), while "Everyone is Jesus" raises the stakes even higher. Everyone? Including Peter Wahlbeck? ;-)

Di Leva has a pretty colourful career even outside pop music: TV actor, children's program show host and Harmonic Converge meditator (or something - they sent love to a comet just passing Earth, I think. I admit the comet didn't hit us). The man's divine plays continues as we speak, so who knows what he will come up with next. One thing's for sure, though. It will be Cosmic, and it will definitely be Spaced Out!
Ha ha ha.
