"Starfishes
of the Atlantic" by Alisa M. Clark and Maureen E. Downey is the Chapman
& Hall Identification Guide no. 3.
The other volumes in this super-specialized series are titled "Larval stages of Northeastern Atlantic crabs" and "Marine Interstitial Ciliates".
The photos in this book are all black-and-white and, frankly, all starfish look the same to me! The species presentations are extremely technical.
We are dealing with scientific reference works again, not for the general public or even the occasional collector or diver.
Why am I even reviewing this?
