A review of an Atheist T-shirt with the caption "Science Flies You to the Moon, Religion Into Buildings"

Sure, I see the point, but I just can't help saying something wee bit nasty about, say, Gulag or the Holocaust, which were both organized by atheist or atheistic regimes. Besides, the spirituality (as opposed to the "religion") of the 9/11 terrorists obviously leaved a lot to be asked for. And then there's that tiny detail about the Religion of Progress, which says that we absolutely have to go to the Moon or Mars (or build taller and taller buildings) rather than, say, develop organic agriculture or kill less dodos. Blind belief, including blind belief in Science, flies you (and entire civilizations) into buildings...
