I see
the hard-core fans complain about this Greatest Hits album by Van Halen. Why?
All the radio hits are in there: "Jump", "Panama", "Why can't this be love" and "Dreams". The songs your local radio station is playing while you're seated at work station 35, doing whatever menial task is associated with work station 35. That's how most of us remember Van Halen.
So what's the problem?
OK, they didn't include some obscure B-side from a special edition single released at the Upstate New York rock festival back in 1978, the one where Mr. Hard-Core Fan actually met David Lee Roth and talked to him for five minutes, but so what?
Besides, Van Halen isn't real rock music anyway. Why do you think my local radio station plays their songs? :P
