A souvenir for Formula One enthusiasts

"Race Traxx" is a curious CD, released as the official album of the 1995 Formula One German Grand Prix. It was won by Michael Schumacher, who is prominently featured on the cover of this record.

Unfortunately, most of the music is pretty bland. There are only two real pop songs, Yello's classic "The Race" and Mach 1's "Race King". The rest of the tracks are instrumental tunes, including the Miami Vice Theme, Herbie Hancock's "Rockit" and Harold Faltermeyer's "Axel F". Most of the other artists are more or less unknown, and the entire album feels frankly boring.

I bought this CD mostly by chance and don't really recommend it, unless you are a Formula One enthusiast with a love for strange spin-off products associated with the sport.
