My review of the "Czech" flag on Amazon.
I don't wish to be rude, but this is really the flag
of Czechoslovakia. The blue triangel is a symbol for Slovakia. However, when
Czechoslovakia fell apart, the Czechs decided to keep the old Czechoslovak
flag. So now the triangle suddenly stands for Moravia, instead! A funny case of
keeping the symbol, but changing the symbolism...
Well, it's good to know that the tribe of Kalhoda and Sladek identified so hard with the Czecho-SLOVAK state, that they decided to continue using its flag!
