My review of "The Pictorial Encyclopedia of Transport"
Found this in my basement the
other day… This is originally a Czech nerd book, here in an English
translation. Rather uninteresting. Some of the photos are in colour, but most
are in black and white. If you are an 11-year old kid crazy about cars, buses,
trains or ships, I suppose you will leaf through this with an excited glance in
your eyes. Funny details: some of the photos are obviously from promotional
material provided by the manufacturers, since the cars are flanked by photo
models! Not sure how to rate this (to me) uninteresting book. Two stars?
