Bracing myself for another round of debunking, claims and counter-claims...
OK, let's compare with other pieces of cloth preserved from 2024 years ago. Oh, there are none?! Even so, it proves nothing about the resurrection, without which Christianity becomes a mere philosophy.
Exactly. My main problem with the Shroud is that the picture of Jesus looks too "classical" or "familiar". But when did Jesus start to be depicted like he (supposedly) is on the shroud (the famous image is really a kind of enhancement)? Probably not right away in AD 34...
