Extremely light weight “schlager pop” from the homeland of, well, extremely light weight “schlager pop”, better known as Germany (Federal Republic of). Olaf Malolepski is a former member of the popular light weight schlager band Die Flippers, who had a peculiarly German career spanning decades. Centuries? You're grandparents probably listened to Die Flippers! I admit that this genre isn't a favorite of mine, but it is *somewhat* better than its nearest Swedish equivalent, known as “dansband”…
