Alice in the mine shaft

This is a translation of “Alice in Wonderland” to Picard, a regional dialect or patois spoken in northern France and some parts of southern Belgium. More exactly, it's a translation to one variant of Picard Borain, a dialect spoken in the Borinage, the area around Mons (Mont) in Belgium. The Borinage is an old mining district, and still has a hard-boiled reputation of sorts. If kids of unemployed coal miners will like this peculiar story, is indeed an interesting question!
