In 2020, Michael Moore released a somewhat curious film titled "Planet of the Humans", promoting a Deep Ecology message. The mainstream Green movement reacted by in effect trying to censor the film! The reason? "Planet of the Humans" exposes what complete fraud the environmentalist movement has become, with Green capitalists pushing for "divestment from oil" while supporting mining and logging. Indeed, the entire "transition to carbon neutrality" is based on increased multi-national mining operations in the Global South, and apparently also logging for biomass.
The article linked below, written by Max Blumenthal, is from the hard left website The Grayzone, which supports Venezuela, Nicaragua and Bolivia. Note the article´s attacks on Naomi Klein.
Of course, Blumenthal is not a Deep Ecologist, but rather seems to be a "climate change indifferentist". Probably a ChiCom asset, if you ask me. Still, a very interesting and revealing report! I mean, I´m old enough to remember when environmentalist activism was considered scary and super-radical...
