Fact check or click bait?

New and deadlier variant?

Interesting article, but I get the impression that it´s to some extent click bait, since they begin by predicting doom & gloom, only to take a different approach in the last paragraphs. 

Short form: the pandemic *could* continue for another year and become worse than at present, but there is also a very strong possibility that our immune system might stop even the deadlier variants which may emerge...
