Not as dramatic as the headline suggests. For a moment, I thought they had proven Lysenko right! In other words: fake. In reality, the discovery is that certain plants have evolved to protect important parts of the genome from random mutations. I´m sure that´s very interesting, but hardly earth-shaking...
