Cylon did nothing wrong

 



When the citizens of Croton demanded a democratic constitution, the Pythagoreans (who dominated the city) refused. Cylon of Croton therefore led a rebellion against Pythagoras, burned the cult´s meeting hall, and killed many Pythagoreans. The rest were expelled. (It´s possible that Pythagoras himself perished during the revolution.)

I think Cylon was right. The picture above (from 1915 AD) shows him during the storming of the meeting-hall. Give me liberty or give me disharmony on Earth!
