Today (January 13) is "Christmas Tree Plunder" in Sweden, traditionally considered the last day of the Christmas season.
It´s the day when the Christmas decorations are finally removed, the Christmas tree is thrown out, and so on. Apparently, young people take down their decorations already on January 6 or 7, however.
Personally, I appreciate the very new custom that the employer gives the employees free candy on January 13. If it´s still in effect? I mean, the crisis and so on...
