Ha ha ha, probably not important, but this is some Christian fundamentalist YouTuber (he actually calls himself "fundamentalist" rather than "evangelical") attacking Russell Brand, the controversial celebrity who recently converted to Christianity. Cuz some heresy or something.
I noticed that the content-creator mentions Theosophy and Blavatsky, even having a picture of HPB on the thumbnail, with Brand looking her way! Theosophy (which hardly exists anymore) is the harbinger of the Anti-Christ One World religion, no less.
Of course, all arguments Spencer Smith directs against Brand could be directed at the apostle Paul by a strict Pharisee: it´s not the historic Jewish faith, it´s a new understanding based on new revelations, it´s a wholly new way of receiving God, and so on. "The mystery of salvation which has been hidden since the foundations of the world"...until Paul revealed it after spending three years in Arabia being taught by God personally. And you receive it through the bread and wine during communion, yeah, sounds legit.
As for the "historic Christian faith", well, does that include the First Book of Enoch? Does Spencer believe that the Earth is flat and domed, that the Devil lives in the atmosphere (close to where airplanes tread), et cetera? What about the germ theory of disease? Oh, and where did Cain´s wife come from?
I know, I know, this is "low hanging fruit", but dude, did ya ask for it! :D
