The next ten billion years

I´m not sure if I ever linked to John Michael Greer´s extravaganza "The Next Ten Billion Years", but if I have, here we go again. This is a tie-in of sorts to that other classical essay of his, "An Afternoon in Early Autumn".

  2. I realize it´s science fiction (although with a serious intent), but my nerd side finds it implausible that a "global civilization" could rise again after 1,000 years of destruction, decline and climate change.

The raccoons and "corvins", on the other hand, are perfectly believable, for what its worth.
