The retroactive purge of Richard Dawkins

"Wow, I really love the American Humanist Association.
Is it one of our front groups?"

The American Humanist Association is so woke that it has decided to strip Richard Dawkins of an award he got 25 years ago. LOL! Clown world strikes again. Of course, nobody has ever heard of the AHA, while everyone knows about Dawkins, so somehow, I think he´ll manage...

American Humanist Association purges Richard Dawkins

  1. Come to think of it, the SJWs have been trying to "cancel" Richard Dawkins for about 10 years now, with no apparent success.

First, it was because of Dawkins´ supposed Islamophobia. So attacking Christianity and the Bible is OK, but not Islam? LOL. Maybe Dawkins should rename his book "The Allah Delusion" just to provoke these people even more? (They all seem to be atheist, btw.)

I wasn´t very smart, I think, to strip Dawkins of his award, I mean, what are they going to strip him of next time they cancel him?

I suppose they could demand that Oxford retroactively revokes his former position as professor of public understanding of science, or perhaps his long lapsed Kenyan citizenship?

  2. "The Blind Watchmaker" is obviously an insult to blind people, watchmakers and the Swiss, so there we have a little opening. "The Selfish Gene", whoa, that´s really something. Not to mention "The Extended Phenotype", with its gross insensitivity to genotypes (especially intended ones). PURGE THE DAMN BASTARD

  3. Ive always had a soft spot for Dawkins inspite of his vulgo-atheism. Whats not to like about the man beside that?

  4. I like him even when I think he´s wrong (for instance, he opposed Brexit), mostly because he seems completely honest and also somewhat "badass", says exactly what he thinks! Charges like a mad ram! So I never hated him, not even during my most "Christian-interested" period. Perhaps a bit tired of him sometimes, but no more than that.

  5. Perhaps the AHA can also cancel Darwin? I mean, why not really?

  6. Of course they must cancel Darwin a lot more than Dawkins. But i wonder how many of AHA:s members have actually been reading any original Darwin-texts.
Perhaps it would be best if we put Darwin in the memory hole and instead ascribe his scientific work to some black transexual womyn womyn with a jolly good PC-attitude to evrything under the sun.

  7. This is the actual tweet from Dawkins that made AHA go bonkers:

"In 2015, Rachel Dolezal, a white chapter president of NAACP, was vilified for identifying as Black. Some men choose to identify as women, and some women choose to identify as men. You will be vilified if you deny that they literally are what they identify as. Discuss."

  8. Here is why we all love Richard Dawkins (it would have been *very* funny if AHA had purged him for *these* quotations instead, lol).

"Just bought Simon Conway Morris’s remarkable book ‘The Runes of Evolution’ & begun to dip in. Elegantly written, massively footnoted scholarly labour of love for convergent evolution & constrained power of Darwinism. Splendid antidote to SJ Gould’s shallow “contingency” notion. And yes, of course I know he’s Christian & published by Templeton. Still a wonderful encyclopedia of convergent evolution. Conway Morris and I are at the AJ Cain (‘Perfection of Animals’) end of the spectrum of Darwinians. We really get the astonishing power of selection."

  11. I think Gould was a kind of Marxist, a member of a group called "Science for the People" or something like that. Something tells me he didn´t go as far as ol´ Uncle Joe, though!
