Quantum questions

Look, quantum indeterminacy gave me wings!
- Nah, it´s just the butterfly effect.

Atheist Richard Carrier attacks "quantum consciousness".

An interesting aspect of this polemic is that Carrier seems to reject quantum mechanics in general. Or rather: he believes that quantum phenomena can probably be explained in terms of "classical" physics.

In the process, Christian apologists or New Age believers who try to use quantum physics to "prove" the existence of a soul or free will, will be disappointed...again. In other words, Carrier prefers "classical" explanations since they obviously suggest materialism and hence atheism.

Or so he believes.

Quantum consciousness is bullshit (but quantum cognition is not)
