A Swedish TV network just showed the near-classical "Interview with the Vampire" featuring Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Antonio Banderas.
It struck me that the life of the vampires are a pretty good metaphor for atheism-materialism. An everlasting life with no possibility for redemption and no other meaning than feeding and hedonism, exercised by preying on others.
But doesn´t everyone die in a atheist-materialist universe? Well, does the intellectually unfulfilled atheist really *want* to die? The popularity of transhumanism suggests otherwise.
And then there´s this...
Are you absolutely sure you *will* die?
