Mistakes were made, but not by me

A certain Swedish tabloid (yes, it was Aftonbladet) recently asked - in a frontpage headline - why there are so many strange rumors about Putin.

I. Beg. You. Pardon?!

Because *the tabloids* are spreading them far and wide, obviously. And probably making them up, too. I didn´t bother reading the article, but here´s a wild guess: after almost two years of war, all the speculations about Putin being dead and replaced with a body double are looking increasingly silly. So it´s time to backtrack a bit...

Oh, and speaking of that. Aftonbladet also asks if the conflict in the Ukraine risks becoming overshadowed by the war between Israel and Hamas. Once again, the projection is overwhelming. Or perhaps underwhelming? Last time I looked, Aftonbladet no longer mentions every tiny "strategically important" village retaken by the Ukrainians, at least not that prominently.

Can´t be easy being a journo this days!
