When the Plymouth Brethren decide your foreign policy

John Nelson Darby:
 real Secretary of State?

It´s logical to support both Ukraine and Israel, since they are both pro-Western. Or to oppose both, if you also oppose the West.

But what on earth is the justification for wanting to abandon Ukraine, while very strongly supporting Israel? This seems to have become the "mainline" position among American conservatives, including some Trump supporters, perhaps even including Trump himself.

This position is clearly irrational, for a number of reasons, but since it´s often argued from the Bible, it should be pointed out that it´s clearly "non-Biblical" too, since Christianity very early abandoned an exclusive Israelite-Jewish orientation in favor of preaching among the Gentiles. And even the Jewish Christians presumably believed that the Kingdom wasn´t of this world.

No Christian faction seem to have supported the Jewish uprisings against the Romans in 66 - 73 AD or 132 AD.

What a pity Ukraine isn´t mentioned in the Bible. But note the bizarre fact that the Dispensationalists often claim that *Russia* is! But apparently what counts is the attack on Israel by the Prince of Rosh, not any move against Ashkenaz (!) or whatever the Biblical authors called the region north of the Black Sea...

Scratching my head.
