Daring

This is a summary of a video I linked to previously. Daring move to claim that the Christmas tree isn´t pagan this close to, you know, Christmas...

HANDS OFF OUR IRMINSUL, CHARLEMAGNE, YOU!

  1. Good one! I did not know that! Our tree of course has been artificial for a few years now. Easier on the clean up and not a burden on landfill, yet. The weeks after Christmas have the alleyways filled with discarded real trees, going to the dump. Good move thou Christians!

  2. My parents (and "everyone else") also use plastic trees these days, it´s frankly easier and cheaper in the long run. I mean, if you re-use the same one year after year...

  3. How it affects the environment or the economy I don´t know. I mean, real trees are "organic", and maybe people buy too many plastic trees? On the other hand...and so on!

  4. Here at least the city has drop off points where they (or someone) will grind up the used real trees into mulch. But yes, a plastic tree in the dump has a much lesser chance of being recycled...
